Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are pleased to inform you that Troester, a Hannover based leading manufacturer of extrusion lines for the cable and rubber industry, has acquired on 15 April 2011 all the shares of X-Compound GmbH from the undersigning founders and former owners, Pierre Lutz and Rolf Waldner.
We founded the company 14 years ago and developed it to serve compounders and manufacturers in sectors where the highest product quality is required. We have now achieved a long-term succession solution and will remain in our management functions at X-Compound to further develop and grow the compounding business within the Troester Group.
X-Compound customers will benefit from long-term business continuity and additional capabilities that the Troester Group offers, such as global presence, product development and customer support.
With this transaction X-Compound can secure its further growth and is in an ideal position to execute the next steps of its strategy. X-Compound operations will remain in Kaisten, Switzerland and all the staff will be kept.
